What is PCOS Pal, and is it free?

PCOS Pal is a mobile app for managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome day to day. It tracks irregular cycles and symptoms, scores food by how it affects insulin and inflammation, matches workouts to where you are in your cycle, and explains how PCOS works in plain language — with a link to the source on every health claim. The app is free.

Is PCOS Pal free?

Yes, and not in the way that word is usually used. There are no ads, no trial that quietly turns into a charge, and nothing is time-limited. These are free and stay free:

Premium is one thing only: the rest of the in-depth lesson library. Everything above is outside the paywall and the app says so on the screen where it asks.

How much does premium cost?

There is a monthly plan, an annual plan, and a one-time purchase that never renews. You can also simply not buy anything, and the app keeps working.

No figure is quoted on this page on purpose. App prices differ by country and change over time, and a number written here would eventually be a number you were not actually charged. Google Play and the App Store show the price in your own currency before you confirm anything — that is the only place it is guaranteed to be right.

Are there reviews yet?

Very few. The app is new, and the honest answer is that there is not yet enough feedback for a rating to mean much. Whatever is there is on the Google Play listing, written by people who actually installed it. No rating or review count is printed on this site, because a number no one can verify is worth less than saying so.

What PCOS Pal does not do

The main page shows the actual screens, and the privacy policy spells out what is stored and where. Account deletion is in the app under Settings, and also here.
